I'm a life-long resident of Colorado. I grew up in a small town in northeastern Colorado, Fort Morgan. After barely graduating from high school (my "major" was boy-chasing, but it wasn't in the schools approved list of studies that would net one a diploma) I moved to a bigger town, a little farther south and west, called Greeley. I was employed by what was then called Mountain Bell (Qwest is it's name now) who moved me to Denver in the early '80s. I've been in the Denver Metro area ever since. I currently live in a suburban city named Aurora. It used to be called Saudi Aurora, I'm not sure if it was because of the lack of mature trees, the abundance of sand in some places, or just because it's so hot in the summer. Or maybe because it seemed remote at the time. Who knows. I never asked. I've been working for AT&T, now known in lower case as at&t, off and on for the last 28 years. I took an 11 year hiatus from 1984 to 1995, during which I sobered up and went to fine art college, where I earned my Associate Degree in drawing and painting. I've hardly produced any work since graduating, but it was nonetheless the best two years of my life. Blogging is very new to me. I've been working on and with computers for 16 years, but blogging didn't interest me until a progressive, narcissistic president was elected last fall. Since then, I've devoted a lot of my free time to doing ANYTHING I can to thwart his dictatorship. That's pretty much me in a nutshell. I deliberately left out any references to past romantic relationships. You really don't want to know, believe me. Great to see you visiting, come back often. I try to put something new up once or twice a week, but it's not easy when you have to earn a living, too!
